thE STiFF

South Florida’s thE STiFF grew out of Atomic Fly—the band whose music helped launch Well She Isn’t Records in 2020. Guitarist Frank Tabino and drummer Peter Schwartz are carrying that foundation forward and helping build a new band around raw punk energy, loud guitars and sharp power-pop hooks.

Today, thE STiFF features Stratis Washburn on lead vocals and guitar, Frank Tabino on lead guitar and vocals, Dan Bonebrake on bass and vocals, and Peter Schwartz on drums and vocals.

Unpolished in all the right ways, the band makes honest, high-energy rock ’n’ roll with songs built to stick in your head—and meant to be played loud.

Through its releases, merchandise and live performances, thE STiFF remains deeply connected to WSIR’s mission: supporting independent music while helping fund animal rescue. It’s loud music with a purpose—and proof that a loud band can make an even louder difference.
